UN Foundations Training

UN Training for Organisations and Professionals

Build global insight. Understand the system shaping today's world.

UNAA NSW offers a new series of United Nations training courses designed to help professionals and organisations better understand the global frameworks, institutions and norms that shape today’s operating environment.

These courses make the work, values and role of the United Nations practical, accessible and relevant for Australian workplaces. Participants gain a clear understanding of how the UN functions, how it addresses complex global challenges, and why multilateral cooperation continues to matter for governments, businesses and communities alike.

Why This Training Matters

Organisations today operate in an increasingly complex global environment shaped by international agreements, institutions, norms and risks - from geopolitics and conflict to human rights, sustainability and global standards. Even organisations without an explicit international mandate are influenced by these systems through regulation, supply chains, partnerships, workforce expectations and public trust.

UNAA NSW’s United Nations Training Courses provide a practical introduction to the global governance system that underpins this environment. The courses explain how the United Nations operates, how global issues are managed through cooperation and negotiation, and how these dynamics influence national, organisational and individual decision‑making.

For leaders, managers and professionals, this training supports stronger global literacy, clearer strategic awareness and more informed judgement. It helps organisations understand where global frameworks come from, how Australia engages with them, and why international cooperation remains relevant to stability, risk management and long‑term outcomes.

Our courses are designed for:

  • Corporate and organisational leaders seeking greater global and geopolitical literacy
