World Federation of United Nations Associations

Founded in 1946 as a people's movement for the United Nations, the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) is the only international, non-governmental organization devoted entirely to the support of the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter. 

WFUNA's founders realized that the strength of the United Nations could develop only with the support of informed public opinion in member states.

Today United Nations Associations are located in many countries in every region of the world.

Representing the views of people from various political, economic and social systems, WFUNA's family of United Nations Associations forms a unique "human bridge" between the UN system, their national governments and their country's people.
